Welcome to opengovt.org.nz. We develop and host projects around transparency, participatory democracy, and generally making central and local government useful to citizens and businesses.

• Open Data Catalogue: The one-stop shop for locating Government data. We hope that, in time, Government itself will take on the responsibility for maintaining this catalogue in accordance with our principles: user-contributions welcome, the license is important, and instant access is infinitely preferable to a tiresome registration process. (launched 5 June 2009)
